Menopause Yoga is a unique combination of yoga poses, breathing techniques and mindful meditation practices. These techniques have been specially adapted to help women manage the main symptoms of menopause.
This workshop, run by Menopause Yoga Accredited Teacher Charlotte Swann, is aimed at supporting women experiencing hot flushes, night sweats and overwhelming feelings of anger and/or irritability.
During the workshop Charlotte will guide you through a specialist practice that will provide you with a set of skills to help alleviate hot flushes and nights sweats and reduce the intensity and frequency of hot flushes.
This practice will also help you to better understand the menopause and allow you to surrender to this natural process of change in order to cool the fire of hot emotions and release the resistance and fear that often accompany this stage of life.
Menopause is an opportunity to take a pause in your busy life, to nurture & nourish yourself, to take time for self study and learn more about your changing body, mind and emotions in order to look forward to the next stage in your life.
You will come away from this workshop with a redefined perspective of the menopause and it’s symptoms that challenges it’s negative associations and highlights the many positives that are to be found when we have knowledge, tools, understanding and support.
The cost of the three hour workshop is £25 and Charlotte is also offering a discount of 10% to anyone wishing to book all 3 Menopause Workshops being run at The Centre during February and March.
Tea/coffee and a homemade nutritious treat will be provided during the workshop and access to a pre-recorded video of the yoga practice will be made available to each participant for a full month after the workshop.
