Mastering Prana – Tantric Hatha Yoga
In the Tantric worldview reality is that the world is an endless ocean of ambrosia (Adi Shankara-Saundaryalahari) This ambrosia is prana.
Everything is made out of energy. Energy is light particles, photons, and is present in all that exists. Yoga’s path is the path of involution. Going back to the source of it all to be able to experience life in a holistic way. The main obstacle is the vail of illusion that is obscuring this reality of luminosity and is causing us to have a distorted perception of reality. Instead of pure light all we see is a fragmented, and at times, incoherent puzzle.
By adopting the Tantric worldview and by working on our ability to sense, experience, and later on, shape prana we are able to make true progress as conscious, aware, and awake beings.
Without prana, asana is just a physical posture.
Without prana, pranayama is just breathing.
Without prana, meditation is just working with the mind.
When prana is accessed and incorporated into your practice it becomes a yoga practice. When prana is incorporated into your everyday actions, your life becomes a yagya – a dharmic celebration of joyous existence.
This workshop is intended to provide you with the yogic tools that have been passed down from master to student over thousands of years so that you too can start to experience prana and be able to infuse your yoga practice with the fundamental aspect of reality.
We will work with asana, kumbhakas and bandhas, mudras, and kriya meditations, in a way that will help you increase your pranic sensitivity, increase your capability to hold more prana within yourself to help you feel more empowered, charismatic, limitless, fearless, and indomitable.
If you are looking to step up your yoga practice and step up to life than this workshop is for you.
