Mum & Baby Yoga

Calling Mums, Dads , Carers and Babies from newborn to walking. Bonding, playful, nurturing, soothing and supportive. The ultimate in relational yoga - a sweet dialogue of movement, song and connection between mum and little one. Lets not parent in isolation but come together to connect in the challenging/rewarding path of parenthood. It takes a village to grow a child !

Supporting you and little one to calm nervous systems and bring them into coherence. This will relieve many of the challenges that can arise in the first year. Plenty of yoga for Mum to tone, strengthen and enjoy her body. Even to relax and recharge. No previous yoga experience necessary!

Children’s Mindfulness and Meditation Journey

In these classes we will explore mindfulness in a fun, practical way. We will learn to meditate using a variety of techniques, visualisation, breath work, body scans, PMR, movement, sound and many more. In my classes it is about planting the seed of meditation and mindfulness and encouraging it to grow. And doing this is a fun playful environment. £4 per child and this class is aimed at 7-12 year olds.

Pregnancy Yoga

Pain Management Support Group

Pick up tips on how to reduce the effect pain has on your day-to-day life. Beth Cox, pain management coach, will introduce a topic to chat about over a cup of tea. In these group sessions, you’ll learn about what’s happening in your body and mind when you're living with persistent or reoccurring pain. When we have a better awareness and understanding of what’s happening, we can experiment with tools that can help manage the secondary effects of pain. This class will not include physical exercise, we’ll be sat in chairs. £5

YIN YOGA to release tension & calm the mind Yin Yoga is not about building up sweat or getting a ‘yoga body’. It is for anyone and everyone, particularly those who want to step out of their stressful lives, slow down and simply be with what is.
The long, passive poses in these sessions give you time to listen to your body, releasing tension and calming your mind. The deep stretch also penetrates the connective tissue in areas so many of us have problems with, such as the back and hips, helping them become stronger. Singing the Sacred - Chanting for healing and peace

Sanskrit Chanting for Peace - The Prayer of Sri Rudram

Performed daily in temples across India, Sri Rudram is a profound 3500-year-old hymn from the sacred Vedas. Hearing it invokes peace, protection, well-being and the removal of obstacles. Chanted for people, communities, places and the world. It is a time where you can come and receive this Sanskrit prayer, relax and enjoy it's ancient sounds and if you wish, hold closely any intention or prayer for yourself and / or for anyone or situation that needs healing.

Each crystal vibrations sound bath has a different intention working with the changing seasons, moon phases, natural rhythms and energy centres. Releasing and letting go, to create space in order to fill the body and mind back up with healing and harmonious frequencies. Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement

These enjoyable classes are for anyone who wants to feel functionally stronger, more self-aware and able to move with greater freedom, lightness and pleasure. The movement lessons are gentle but powerful and will help you to increase ease and efficiency in all your activities such as walking, running, sitting at a desk, sports, dance, playing a musical instrument, practicing yoga, all with less pain and injury, and more grace and poise.

As a practice the method also offers you a simple way to access a deep resource of calm within yourself, to release chronic tension and pain, transform patterns of trauma, and promote healing on many levels.

The classes are enjoyable and accessible for any level of ability, including blind and partially sighted. Philippa has over 25 years of experience in helping people move out of pain and into greater ease and freedom, and creates a safe and supportive environment for each individual to learn at their own pace. £9
