Baby & Me is a social support group from bump to one! Most weeks we offer different taster sessions from local baby classes, workshops and activities. The Centre provides a calm environment perfect for getting to know other expectant and new parents and accessing any pregnancy, feeding or postnatal support you need.

Mum and baby Yoga

Combining both postnatal and baby yoga.

Focusing on the BAPs (back abs and Pelvic floor) for mum and cute little stretches for baby. Bond with baby, connect with other mums.

Writing for Wellbeing

Writing can be a mindful, meditative practice. Expressive writing helps to calm the mind and emotions, increases feelings of happiness and wellbeing. Classes currently run once a week and all are welcome.

Jnana Yoga Meditation

With her gentle warmth and deep understanding of these ancient yogic teachings, Anna leads a profound meditation enabling you to let go of of the busy mind and realise a constant presence of peace that underlies everything. Children’s Mindfulness and Meditation Journey

In these classes we will explore mindfulness in a fun, practical way. We will learn to meditate using a variety of techniques, visualisation, breath work, body scans, PMR, movement, sound and many more. In my classes it is about planting the seed of meditation and mindfulness and encouraging it to grow. And doing this is a fun playful environment. £4 per child and this class is aimed at 7-12 year olds.

The long, passive poses in these sessions give you time to listen to your body, releasing tension and calming your mind. The deep stretch also penetrates the connective tissue in areas so many of us have problems with, such as the back and hips, helping them become stronger. Singing the Sacred - Chanting for healing and peace

Sanskrit Chanting for Peace - The Prayer of Sri Rudram

Performed daily in temples across India, Sri Rudram is a profound 3500-year-old hymn from the sacred Vedas. Hearing it invokes peace, protection, well-being and the removal of obstacles. Chanted for people, communities, places and the world. It is a time where you can come and receive this Sanskrit prayer, relax and enjoy it's ancient sounds and if you wish, hold closely any intention or prayer for yourself and / or for anyone or situation that needs healing.

Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement

These enjoyable classes are for anyone who wants to feel functionally stronger, more self-aware and able to move with greater freedom, lightness and pleasure. The movement lessons are gentle but powerful and will help you to increase ease and efficiency in all your activities such as walking, running, sitting at a desk, sports, dance, playing a musical instrument, practicing yoga, all with less pain and injury, and more grace and poise.

As a practice the method also offers you a simple way to access a deep resource of calm within yourself, to release chronic tension and pain, transform patterns of trauma, and promote healing on many levels.

The classes are enjoyable and accessible for any level of ability, including blind and partially sighted.
