Baby & Me is a social support group from bump to one! Most weeks we offer different taster sessions from local baby classes, workshops and activities. The Centre provides a calm environment perfect for getting to know other expectant and new parents and accessing any pregnancy, feeding or postnatal support you need.

Writing for Wellbeing

Kelly's Soul Flow Yoga classes are all inclusive, authentic and welcoming. Her classes are inviting to newbies to yoga or the more experienced yogi. The practice will be strong and will create space for you to grow from the inside out. This class will focus around asanas (postures) being held for us to explore our practice on a deeper level, allowing us to to find balance within the body and mind. We will explore pranyamana (breathing), asanas and relaxation throughout the practice. Classes are welcoming to all and Kelly would love to create and hold space for each and everyone of students throughout their practice, so that they leave feeling fulfilled.

Let’s Walk: Walking for Health, and for Fun

Group Walk

A weekly group walk starting from the Wellbeing Centre and exploring the local green spaces. Each week we will head for a different venue, for example Victoria Park and the beach, the Vetch Community Gardens, St James Gardens, Cwmdonkin Park and Rosehill Quarry. There’ll be a chance to exchange information and knowledge about health and wellbeing, mindfulness, the natural world, and of course Swansea local history - whatever interests you. Open to all. £7

Riding the Wave

This course is an introduction to the Samanga Form, a sensitive and powerful sequence that integrates energetic gestures, yoga postures and breathing techniques. In awakening the spinal wave, we access a deep well of energy that increases vitality, resilience and adaptability. The form supports mental and nervous stability, mindfully explores all spinal movements and regulates the breathing rhythm. It is a Yin-Yang form with both energising and pacifying qualities.

Singing the Sacred - Chanting for healing and peace

This is a time where we can come together and sing sacred chants and songs. We can relax, let go, pray, heal and connect to the natural simplicity of being and peace that underlies all the movements of the mind. In its most simple way chanting helps quieten and soothe the mind and open the heart. Open to all, no experience needed. Sanskrit Chanting for Peace - The Prayer of Sri Rudram

Performed daily in temples across India, Sri Rudram is a profound 3500-year-old hymn from the sacred Vedas. Hearing it invokes peace, protection, well-being and the removal of obstacles. Chanted for people, communities, places and the world. It is a time where you can come and receive this Sanskrit prayer, relax and enjoy it's ancient sounds and if you wish, hold closely any intention or prayer for yourself and / or for anyone or situation that needs healing.

Restorative Yoga

Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement

These enjoyable classes are for anyone who wants to feel functionally stronger, more self-aware and able to move with greater freedom, lightness and pleasure. The movement lessons are gentle but powerful and will help you to increase ease and efficiency in all your activities such as walking, running, sitting at a desk, sports, dance, playing a musical instrument, practicing yoga, all with less pain and injury, and more grace and poise.

As a practice the method also offers you a simple way to access a deep resource of calm within yourself, to release chronic tension and pain, transform patterns of trauma, and promote healing on many levels.

The classes are enjoyable and accessible for any level of ability, including blind and partially sighted. Philippa has over 25 years of experience in helping people move out of pain and into greater ease and freedom, and creates a safe and supportive environment for each individual to learn at their own pace. £9
