Baby & Me is a social support group from bump to one! Most weeks we offer different taster sessions from local baby classes, workshops and activities. The Centre provides a calm environment perfect for getting to know other expectant and new parents and accessing any pregnancy, feeding or postnatal support you need.

Feldenkrais

Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement can help people of all ages and conditions to improve their comfort, posture, flexibility, balance, coordination and ease of movement. The lessons combine gentle movement with relaxed attention, bringing a sense of calm, a more balanced nervous system, and reduced anxiety, pain and tension. Classes are extremely safe and suitable for anyone able to comfortably lie down.
This class in the studio is limited to 5 people so booking in advance is essential. It is taught by Philippa Castell who has over 30 years of experience in the field of movement education.

Writing for Wellbeing

Joyful Yoga with Lucy

Lucy delights in creating guided moving meditations for the relaxation of body and mind. Ease tension from shoulders, neck, back and improve suppleness and flexibility throughout. Practice gentle, fun strengthening work in a mindful way. We also often use light weights incorporated into a fun mini aerobics interlude session to develop cardio and musculoskeletal strength. Develop a greater awareness of posture, breath and balance; age with freedom, ease and grace!

Sound Healing One to one

Jnana Yoga Meditation

Let’s Walk: Walking for Health, and for Fun

A weekly group walk starting from the Wellbeing Centre and exploring the local green spaces. Each week we will head for a different venue, for example Victoria Park and the beach, the Vetch Community Gardens, St James Gardens, Cwmdonkin Park and Rosehill Quarry. There’ll be a chance to exchange information and knowledge about health and wellbeing, mindfulness, the natural world, and of course Swansea local history - whatever interests you. Open to all. £7

Sanskrit Chanting for Peace - The Prayer of Sri Rudram

Performed daily in temples across India, Sri Rudram is a profound 3500-year-old hymn from the sacred Vedas. Hearing it invokes peace, protection, well-being and the removal of obstacles. Chanted for people, communities, places and the world. The movement lessons are gentle but powerful and will help you to increase ease and efficiency in all your activities such as walking, running, sitting at a desk, sports, dance, playing a musical instrument, practicing yoga, all with less pain and injury, and more grace and poise.
As a practice the method also offers you a simple way to access a deep resource of calm within yourself, to release chronic tension and pain, transform patterns of trauma, and promote healing on many levels.
