Integrative Psychotherapy
Howard Martin
You may be facing a difficult time in your life at the moment and looking for help and support. Are you feeling anxious, uncertain, depressed or generally unhappy? Having sexual or relationship issues? Perhaps you are trapped in patterns of behaviour or addictions that feel out of control? Sometimes we feel unable to talk things through with friends and family and want to speak to someone who is not involved and is trained to help. That’s where I can help as a psychotherapist. I can work with you by providing a space in which you can talk about and understand your situation and think about possible changes. Together, we can identify underlying themes and patterns of behaviour that get in the way of a happy and productive way of life and I can support you in achieving the life, relationships and well-being you wish for.

Integrative Counselling
Fiona Goldman
I am integratively trained, working humanistically, and from a person centred base. That means that while I use elements of different counselling approaches in my work (my training combined psychodynamic, CBT and person centred), the counselling starts, and ends with you, the client, and who else could know how it is to live your life, and be you, as well as you do?

I like to work existentially and relationally, recognising that the ways we relate to and with others, has meaning in our lives, and can appear to both/either control and/or free us; I see that relationships come – like life itself – without a manual; that we’re all trying to work out the rules, we all make mistakes and we all have regrets.

I view the counselling relationship as unique, providing a space for you to really focus on yourself (your grief, your joy, your anger, your aloneness, your history, your hopes…), without anyone else waiting or interrupting, to tell their story.

Couples and Individual Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
Jo-anna Andree
My contemporary working model integrates concepts from the psychoanalytical, cognitive behavioural and psycho-dynamic theories within a humanistic philosophy and systemic thinking. Techniques from these approaches blended with new insights from relational transactional analysis, neuroscience and mindfulness create my evolving working model.

I am a registered member of the BACP and offer face-to-face, on-line and telephone counselling. In order for clients to create new levels of self discovery and growth I tailor each process to complement their unique personality, circumstances and needs. I have undertaken robust post graduation training in couples counselling at The Institute of Systemic Therapy.
The qualities of caring, acceptance and respect create the emotional connection and safe context necessary for clients stories to unfold. The powerful elements of my own humility, curiosity, and genuine interest enhance the process. I assume a non-expert stance and listen and respond in a way that focuses on ideas or meanings rather than content alone.

My practice is culturally sensitive to accommodate our complex society. Establishing trust, building rapport and creating context for understanding couples and individuals needs are at the heart of my work. I assist clients with a range of relational, behavioural and mental health issues as well as providing support during challenging events and seasons of change or self-development.

Psychotherapy and Family Therapy
Colin Cribb
I offer individual , couples and family psychotherapy and a flexible approach to how issues and distress can be alleviated.
I trained as a psychotherapist in existential, psychoanalytic and systemic approaches in London and Cardiff. I completed a 4 year training in family therapy jointly at the Tavistock Clinic and The Family Institute at the University of South Wales in 2003.
I have continued to work in health, social services and charity settings to this day but have never lost sight of the importance of the relationship between client and therapist. Creating mutual trust and reaching joint and more often than not, client led solutions to issues raised is fundamental to a good outcome of therapy and more important than techniques.

I am very experienced with most situations that people find problematic in their lives including depression and anxiety, marital issues, addiction in its many forms, physical and sexual abuse, trauma and trauma informed states, neurodivergent issues and issues that can arise between family members.
