Silver Swans

Silver Swans® classes were developed by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) as a pilot project in response to a growing demand for ballet classes for older learners. Silver Swans® classes are only taught by Silver Swans licensed teachers and have been especially designed for the over-55s, although there is no upper or lower age limit to be a Silver Swan. If you are looking for a new way to keep fit and active, our ballet classes will put a spring in your step. Attending a regular ballet class will help improve mobility, posture, balance, co-ordiantion and energy levels, but most importantly they are an opportunity to have fun and enjoy the sense of wellbeing that dance brings. Whether you’ve never danced before or want to get back into the swing of it, our classes have something for everyone.
