Want to find a new job, but feeling stuck? Not getting results in your job search?
The Wellbeing Centre in association with Jobcoach.Me is excited to offer FREE 30 minute sessions with award nominated job coach Saskia Volders. Come and find out how transformational real job coaching can be!
January is often a time we try to set up new habits but why is it hard to get some habits to stick, while others can be hard to change?
In this 3-hour workshop, we will investigate our habits (Samskara) through the exploration of yoga teachings. We’ll consider why it can be difficult to break certain habits and will learn practical ways of helping new habits stick.
Through two (45-minute) yoga practice sessions we will aim to improve our awareness of our habitual ways of being or re-acting. In the discussion parts, we will explore how we can become caught in behaviour patterns and how these can be difficult to break. We will reflect on the meaning of the quote from Desikachar “Our yoga practice needs to be smarter than our habits”.
Alongside traditional yoga teachings, Beth will share Western psychology tips and techniques to support you make helpful habits stick.
