Overview

Are you looking to boost your skills and connect with peers in a supportive environment? This free, specialized workshop is designed for home-educated teenagers aged 14–17. It offers a safe, relaxed, and welcoming space to build essential literacy skills and grow social confidence.

What to Expect

  • Interactive Learning: Engage in literacy games and collaborative activities.

  • Bite-Sized Goals: Progress through short, highly achievable tasks.

  • Peer Connection: Meet and share experiences with fellow home-educated teens.

  • Future Preparation: Practical guidance to help you apply for college or prepare for the workplace.

About the Instructor

The session is led by Lucy, a fully qualified teacher with 20 years of experience. Lucy specializes in supporting young people who are currently, or at risk of becoming, NEET (not in education, employment, or training). Her positive approach helps students unlock their potential and confidently take their next steps.
