ADHD/ADD Managing Overwhelm Workshop by Carolina Herbert

Do you ever feel overwhelmed? Like your thoughts race, emotions escalate, and it's hard to focus? Many people with ADHD experience these moments.
This workshop is a supportive space to understand why your ADHD brain and nervous system respond to stress the way they do. You'll learn practical ways to calm overwhelm in your daily life. We'll explore tools that work with your ADHD nervous system, not against it. We'll combine insights from science, wellbeing practices, and simple exercises.
What We'll Cover:
-Why overwhelm happens with ADHD
-Your personal triggers and early warning signs
-Easy ways to calm your nervous system
-Wellbeing strategies that help ADHD brains
-Managing overwhelm at work, home, and in relationships
-Creative tools for handling emotions
-This session mixes short talks, guided exercises, and tips you can use right away.

-Adults with ADHD (diagnosed or self-identified)
-Anyone who often feels overwhelmed or burned out
-People who want to better understand their nervous system and stress
-You don't need any special knowledge or experience to join.

Carolina Herbert – A UKCP Arts Psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and workshop leader.
Carolina helps people understand their nervous system, reflect on their experiences, and use creative tools for wellbeing. She supports individuals in finding practical ways to handle stress, overwhelm, and emotions, building resilience and self-understanding.
