Unlock Your Hips - 30th November 2025 9:30 am – 12:30 pm £36
The hips play an important role in yoga. They are considered ‘the gateway’ to the spine. Tightness in the hips can create low back pain, sciatica pain, restriction in natural movement and inability to be comfortable while sitting in an asana for a long time. This workshop will teach you different ways to unlock your hips in a safe and progressive way. It will allow you to understand your own restrictions and gradually work through them.
This workshop will include
A vinyasa sequence to warm up the entire body with an emphasis on the hips.
Mobility drills – you will learn different drills that will help you to access, strengthen and mobilise different muscle groups in and around the hips
PNF – we will use different techniques to help stretch the muscles and release the tension around the hips through both active and passive stretching.
Yin – A slow and deep realise of physical and psyco-emotional tension.
The workshop will finish with a yoga nidra to facilitate change and transformation.
Real transformation needs to be made on all the layers of our being. While this workshop is going to be technical, it will allow you time to drop beyond the physical limitations into the realm of the mind and emotions. While we move our physical body we will use visualization combined with breathing practices to bring the change down to the core of our being.
This workshop is open to everybody, with a reasonable level of fitness, who is interested in transformation.
Blissful Flow - 30th November 2:00 -4:30 pm £25
A blissful session to nourish your body, mind and soul
A blissful yoga practice that will take you to the inner bliss which is your birth right and true essence.
This session will begin with an accommodating asana practice and a few, well deserved, yin release postures to tune in to the body, release unwanted tension and relax into the present moment.
The journey continues with a powerful pranayama and breathwork that will help you to release deep seated blockages from the emotional and subtle body and help you to move into a more refined state.
From there you will be guided into with yoga nidra -a guided relaxation and subtle body activation.
The session will finish with a kriya meditation – a guided meditation and intention setting to allow you to absorb the benefits of the practice and balance and align your energy.
Suitable for all levels of ability.
